Consideration and authorization to designate the Mayor as the City’s labor negotiator to negotiate employment terms, including compensation and amendments, for the selected candidate for Interim Director of Police Accountability; concurrent closed-session consideration and potential appointment of a Public Employee as Interim Director of Police Accountability and of a Public Employee as Director of Police Accountability with the Mayor as the City’s designated representative; and receipt of public reports of any closed-session actions taken pursuant to Government Code section 54957.1, and authority to finalize, sign, and implement related employment agreements and amendments necessary to effectuate the appointments and labor agreements.
